  • Developing and testing strategies to address modifiable risks (such as healthy eating, active living, exercise, alcohol intake, smoking cessation, sunscreen use, and uptake of cancer-preventing vaccines) for cancer prevention and mitigation of outcomes in cancer survivors

  • Developing and testing cancer prevention interventions that involve cultural tailoring, health literacy, social support, patient-provider communication,?shared decision-making,?and social marketing

  • Mindfulness-based interventions for general well-being, smoking cessation, alcohol reduction, weight loss, and other healthy behaviors

  • Dissemination and implementation science research to promote evidence-based practices, interventions, and policies across the cancer control continuum

  • Understanding and removing barriers to participation in research studies and clinical trials
