What Inspires Me
Cancer touches everyone's life in some way, and I am excited to contribute to research that will enhance the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones."
At ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ since 2024
As an Associate Scientist I in Data Analysis, Cassie York, MPH, works with ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ (ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ) researchers and external collaborators to create datasets and conduct analyses using data from both Population Science Cancer Prevention Studies CPS-II and CPS-3 to further cancer research.
Research focus and accomplishments
My previous research focused on analyzing risk factors and health outcomes in underserved communities in the United States and around the world. This work included studying medication safety and effectiveness, contributing to control and elimination efforts of neglected tropical diseases, and enhancing the collection?and interpretation of geographic data for public health purposes.?
Now, I am bringing these skills to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ and applying them to cancer research. I am excited to learn new methods and use the incredible cohort data at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ to investigate how genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors affect cancer outcomes.
